Wuyi rock teas 武夷岩茶

On 6 May, 2018 by teasdelight

Wuyi mountain in China has many famous rock teas like Cassia, Sacred Lily and of course Big Red Robe. The tea grows on and between the cliffs and in the valleys. Because the tea is shielded from too much sunlight, it enables the tea to grow slowly. The rocks contain many minerals and are well irrigated. The air humidity is very high. Tea that comes from this region has a distinctive aromatic taste and fragrance.
